Tung D. Ta is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Information and Communication Engineering, The University of Tokyo and a researcher in ERATO Kawahara Universal Information Network project. His research interests are in the fields of digital fabrication, flexible electronic circuits, and soft-bodied robotics. He is currently interested in the computational generation of electronic patterns to be printed with conductive inkjet ink. He is trying to eliminate the difficulties for non-expert users in designing electronic circuits. Besides, he is also working on developing methods to integrate electronic circuits in 3D printed objects which help to fabricate electronically functional objects. Based on these techniques, he is aiming at making all-print soft-bodied robots. He received his M.E. in 2016 from the Department of Information and Communication Engineering, The University of Tokyo, and B.E. from the Department of Software Engineering, FPT University in 2012. He is a student member of IEICE, IPSJ, ACM, and IEEE.
